Default Where can I find a bargain on an Adobe software package for my PC?

I'm talking about one with: InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, InCopy, Final Cut Pro, etc...

Any computer buffs know anywhere I can download it for *free.. or buy at a lower price?

Are you a student? If so, you may qualify for a student discount. Ask your school's IT staff.

Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4) design package, depending on what you want to do is Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks. InCopy I do not believe exists any more, if it does, it is a separate package. Final Cut Pro is from Apple, has nothing to do with Adobe's suites. You cannot get it for the PC, it is Mac only. You may be thinking of Adobe Premier and After Effects. Sounds like what you are looking for, if you intend to do print, web, and video, is the Master Suite.

The only legal way to get this "cheap" is if you are a student. Then your school can help you purchase the student license, or at least provide the help to prove you are a student that you will need to purchase it yourself from academic resellers such as JourneyEd or Academic Superstore. You may also be able to purchase it at a local university bookstore.

You CANNOT DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE. That's software piracy, anyone telling you you can is aiding and abetting a criminal act. Be aware, also, that asking how to get ANYTHING for free that is a commercial product (you have to buy it) is a violation of Community Guidelines here on Answers, because it is asking for help in committing a crime.

If you are willing to purchase an older version, you might try eBay or Craigslist, but be aware that you take a risk when you do so that it won't be usable, or it will be pirated software.

If you can't get a student discount, there is also a discount site called mwave.com. It has overstock and clearance items, and they might still have the older CS3 version in stock. I think it's $100 to $200 less than full price. You have to read the descriptions carefully to make sure you are getting the right version for your machine (PC versus Mac) and also the full version versus the upgrade.

Getting CS3 or CS4 used from Amazon or Ebay could be a good idea if you find a reputable seller. CS3 still works great for me.

Don't get pirated software!! Good luck :)
